Visiting and contacting us

This is an information website, not an online shop. When you email or call us, we use the information you provide to answer your enquiry. This is based on steps requested before a possible purchase or our legitimate interest in handling general enquiries. Ordinary customer enquiries are retained for no longer than 12 months after the enquiry has been resolved, and are deleted earlier when no longer needed. Relevant correspondence concerning purchases, warranties or disputes may be retained longer where necessary for handling the matter or establishing, exercising or defending legal claims. Documents subject to statutory retention obligations are kept for the applicable legal period.

Hosting and security

The website is hosted by Vercel and technically maintained by bairsites. To deliver pages and protect the service, Vercel processes connection and request information, such as IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs and timestamps. This processing supports our legitimate interest in operating a reliable, secure website. Our server functions are configured in Frankfurt. This does not mean that all personal data stays within the European Economic Area (EEA): Vercel and its subprocessors may also process data outside the EEA, including in the United States, for service delivery and support. Vercel's Data Processing Addendum describes the applicable international-transfer mechanisms, including European Commission standard contractual clauses where required, and how to obtain information about those safeguards. Diagnostic and security information is retained according to the provider's applicable service retention periods and, where necessary, for investigating incidents or meeting legal obligations. These periods are separate from the retention period for customer correspondence. Details of Vercel's processing, retention criteria and international-transfer safeguards are available in its privacy notice and Data Processing Addendum, linked below.

Your privacy choices

We store your choice in this browser under jellyjazz-consent-v1 for up to six months. This functional local storage remembers your preference and is not used for advertising. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie preferences in the footer. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice lasts only for this page visit.

Visitor statistics

Only with your permission, Google Analytics 4 measures visits and clicks on directions, phone, email, gift inspiration and social links. No advertising features or user-ID tracking are enabled. Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are set for up to six months without extending that period on every visit. In this GA4 property, event-level data is retained for two months and user-level data for fourteen months. The user-data retention period resets on new activity. These settings do not limit retention of aggregated standard reports.

Map and social links

Store and product images and fonts are served with this website. When the automatic Instagram feed is enabled, our server retrieves public posts and serves their images through this website. No Instagram scripts or embeds are loaded, and your browser does not contact Instagram to display these images. Clicking a post or social link opens the external provider, whose own privacy policy applies. The interactive map connects to the OpenStreetMap Foundation only after you select Allow and load map. By selecting this button, you consent to sharing your IP address and connection information, including the website origin, to retrieve map tiles. OSMF is an independent data controller based in the United Kingdom; its services may involve processing in other countries as described in its privacy policy. Permission applies only to this page visit and is separate from analytics consent. Select Unload map to stop further map requests; this cannot undo data already transmitted. You can use the address and directions link without loading the embedded map.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Portability applies where the legal conditions are met. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact brugge@jellyjazz.be to exercise these rights. You can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
